Polémicas aparte, lo que está más que claro es que las historias de Jane Austen están más vivas que nunca. Sea por haber analizado la sociedad de su tiempo desde una óptica femenina, por haber creado al hombre ideal que trasciende épocas, por ser feminista o por ser todo lo contrario, lo cierto es que su influencia llega hasta la reescritura casi literal de sus novelas.

Controversy aside, what is abundantly clear is that the stories of Jane Austen are more alive than ever. Either by having analyzed the society of her time from a female perspective, for creating the ideal man that transcends eras, being feminist or being on the contrary, it is certain that her influence reaches almost literal rewriting her novels.
