Evento/Event: Universidad Católica Argentina - Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Queridos bonaerenses, todos los lunes de junio, de forma gratuita, la Universidad Católica Argentina celebra un evento abierto para todos aquellos que se inscriban via internet.
El evento  se llama “Jane Austen: 200 años de Orgullo y Prejuicio” y está organizado por el Departamento de Letras y el Instituto de Literatura Inglesa y Norteamericana. El curso estará a cargo de las profesoras Rosa E. Penna(UCA) y María Alejandra Rosarossa (Arizona State University).

El evento será de 18 a 20 horas, en la sede de Puerto Madero de la UCA. El temario que abordarán las profesoras incluye algunos datos biográficos de Jane Austen, las novelas, Orgullo y Prejuicio, el arte narrativo, la lectura y el uso de cartas, crítica contemporánea a la autora y posterior con ejemplos de adaptaciones para el cine y la televisión.

De nuevo, vuelvo a decir, que ojalá y estuviera en ese lado del atlántico para compartir ese evento con mis austenitas argentinas. Y como no, si alguien lo quiere comentar, aquí estamos :).

Dear people in Buenos Aires, every Monday in June, for free, the Catholic University of Argentina helds an open event for all those who register via internet.

The event is called "Jane Austen: 200 years of Pride and Prejudice" and it is organized by the Department of Arts and the Institute of English and American Literature. The course will be conducted by the teachers Rosa E. Penna (UCA) and Maria Alejandra Rosarossa (Arizona State University).

The agenda that have organized the teachers includes some biographical Jane Austen novels, Pride and Prejudice, narrative art, reading and use of letters, contemporary criticism the author and subsequent examples of adaptations for film and television .
