Oh! Full Frontal Darcy!! Darcy desnudo total! and more/y más. LOL!

 

Aunque no creemos que sea nuevo, porque en algún lado se había visto o leído, esta semana se ha publicado que la famosa escena de 1995 de la camisa mojada iba a ser algo diferente. Darcy estaría completamente desnudo. Según el guionista Andrew Davies no era un recurso para provocar al público, si no una manera de mostrar a un hombre natural, una cuestión cultural, de mostrarse de esa forma liberado, pero no sabe por qué no llegó a hacerse la escena así...no sólo por ser un tema de hacer una serie para todos los públicos.

Curiosidades/curiosities: Colin no era suficientemente guapo para ser Darcy/Colin was not handsome enough to play Darcy

En este artículo del Daily Mail, se cuenta una anécdota que pocos saben. Las productoras de la versión de 1995, siempre quisieron a Colin Firth como Darcy, incluso cuando él pensaba que no era apto para el papel. Lo que no sabíamos es que ITV rechazó la serie, porque no se ajustaba a su audiencia, según su criterio y que cuando pasó a ser producida por la BBC, el guionista Andrew Davies y Alan Yentob, controlador de BBC1, no querían a Colin por tener el pelo castaño y no ser lo suficientemente atractivo. Ese es el motivo por el cual Firth, tuvo que teñirse en un tono más oscuro.

In this article from Daily Mail, tells a story that few know. The producers of the 1995 version, always wanted Colin Firth to play Darcy, even when he thought he was not fit for the role. What we did not know is that ITV rejected the series, because they thought it was not suitable for their audience, and that when it happened to be produced by the BBC, the screenwriter Andrew Davies and Alan Yentob, BBC1 controlller, did not want Colin because of his ginger hair and they thought he was not attractive enough. That is the reason why Firth, had to dyehis hair in a darker shade.

Conference/Conferencia: Andrew Davies in Chapman University/Universidad de Chapman (USA/EEUU)

Andrew Davies, writer of adaptation such as Pride and Prejudice 1995, Northanger Abbey, Middlemarch and many more will be giving a conference in Chapman University next 26th April 7 PM, by the Jane Austen Society of North America. There will be a screenings of the series. The screenings are part of the society’s spring meeting, “Visualizing Pride and Prejudice in Orange County.”

Andrew Davies, guionista de adaptaciones como Orgullo y Prejuicio 1995, La Abadía de Northanger, Middlemarch y muchas más adaptaciones dará una conferencia en la Universidad de Chapman el próximo 26 de Abril a las 7 de la tarde, gracias a la Jane Austen Society de Norte América. La serie se emitirá. Las emisiciones son parte del encuentro de primavera de la sociedad, "Visualizando Orgullo y Prejuicio en el Condado de Orange".
