Bueno, bueno….. no hay mejor manera de cerrar este bicentenario de la
publicación de Orgullo y Prejuicio, que elaborando el nuestro personal,
el que nos parecería el ideal, y que nos haría seguir soñando y
disfrutando….
En primer lugar, en nombre de Only Darcy, de PrideandPrejudiceTwoHundredYears
y mío, daros las gracias por vuestra fidelidad, por vuestro entusiasmo y
por vuestra bonita manera de acompañarnos en estos blogs.

Mañana será el último día para votar a nuestros actores favoritos
interpretando a los distintos personajes de Orgullo y Prejuicio. Y en
unos días, terminaremos el año del Bicentenario de la publicación de
esta maravillosa obra. Cerrarlo con nuestra mejor versión es uno de los
pequeños homenajes que le podríamos hacer a la juguetona Jane Austen.

Pues con Lady Catherine cerramos las
votaciones para elegir a nuestros actores favoritos en las distintas
versiones de Orgullo y Prejuicio. No podíamos prescindir del personaje
que nos ha proporcionado momentos estelares de la novela: metiendo las
narices en el salón de su casa cuando Lizzy reta a Darcy a que practique
más y mejor en sus relaciones sociales; o la magistral lección de
asertividad que le da Lizzy cuando la Dama pretende que le dé su palabra
de que jamás se comprometería con su sobrino Mr. Darcy.. ¡ah, qué
momentos!
Una vez más, Only Darcynos ha preparado un precioso collage con las Lady Catherines de Bourgh de 1940, 1980, 1995, 2004, 2005 y 2008.
