Hoy queremos recordar la campaña de Carte Noire de 2009, donde Dominic West (The Wire) se unía a Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) y Greg Wise (Sentido y Sensibilidad), para leer inolvidables fragmentos de la literatura.

A Dominic, le tocó Orgullo y Prejuicio, del que comentó

Austen ha sido una revelación para mí. No era realmente un fan antes de estas lecturas, pero es un material maravilloso. Mi madre, mis hermanas y esposa siempre solían hablar de ella, y ahora entiendo por qué. Solía pensar que Elizabeth Bennet era tonta - pero no lo es para nada, es realmente brillante e ingeniosa.

Today, we want to remember the campaign that Carte Noire made in 2009, where Dominic West (The Wire), Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) and Greg Wise (Sense and Sensibility), to read wonderful literature pieces.

Dominic had to read Pride and Prejudice, and he had some words about it:

Austen has been a revelation to me. I wasn’t really a fan before doing these readings, but it’s amazing stuff. My mother, sisters and wife always used to bang on about her, and now I understand why. I used to think Elizabeth Bennett was silly – but she’s not at all, she’s really bright and witty.
